The rumour doing the rounds at the moment is that Sammo is interested in bringing in former England International Francis Jeffers on a free transfer! The "fox in the box" was released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of the season and is available, prompting the Town boss to show some interest in gaining his signature.
The striker was one of the top earners at Wednesday but is reportedly prepared to take a pay cut next season.
