The Cobblers, for the first time in a VERY long time, have received a double boost with both Ian Sampson and Chris Dunn nominated for the League Two manager and player of the month awards for a fine run in January.
Sammo led the club to a run of three wins and two draws in the opening month of 2010 whilst Dunn was agonisingly close to breaking the club record of consecutive clean sheets and minutes on the pitch without conceding in January.
The winners will both be revealed this Saturday, with the manager of the month announced on Soccer Saturday and the Player of the Month announced on Soccer AM.
