Well someone has pitched up the money to pay Bayo's way next season and it just happens to be a fellow League Two side to do it. Gillingham have swooped in after the big striker couldn't agree terms with Southend United last week and will name him in the squad to face Hearts tonight.
Bayo scored 17 times last season but left it too late to agree a new deal with the Cobblers so we now face the prospect of facing both himself and fellow ex-player of the year Danny Jackman when the Gills visit Sixfields on October 30th!
