Northampton Town were today sad to announce the death of former player Joe Kiernan.
I've heard a lot about him from my Dad and Grandad and he seems to be a real Cobblers legend. Joining the club in 1962, Kiernan eventually went on to make 308 appearances for Northampton Town and currently stands as 5th highest in the number of league appearances for the club.
My condolances to the family and friends of Mr Kiernan at this time.
