Quick recap and rubbishy short report once again I'm afraid but it's been another busy few days in Danny World.
The Cobblers crashed to defeat at the City Ground last Saturday in a game in which we could have got something from until the goal from Julan Bennett went it mid way through the second half. The first was a decent performance from the Cobblers and new signings Mark Hughes and (more recent signing) Alex Pearce were standing solidly in the middle of the back four. Mark Bunn pulled off two magnificent saves once again and Ian Taylor hit the post before the deadlock was broken by Bennett, heading in a basic right wing free kick.
So the poor run of form goes on and tomorrow night's Sixfields clash with Gillingham now takes on must win status before Monday night's relegation six pointer live on sky with Brentford at Griffin Park.
