The Cobblers will be without Adebayo Akinfenwa for a further game after his red card during the Brighton game was unsuccessfully appealed yesterday. The big man was sent off alongside Albion's Adam Virgo in the second half of the 1-1 draw at the Withdean Stadium on Tuesday night and the club had appealed against it.
But the FA have seen no grounds for an appeal and have instead extended the ban by a further game, meaning that Bayo will also miss the game at Millwall on March 10th.
