Former Cobblers forward Ikechi Anya has signed for Spanish giants Sevilla in a shock move after Stuart Gray;s failed attempts to lure him back to Sixfields over the summer. Anya was on loan with the Cobblers for the last few months of the season and made an impact despite being a part of the side that were relegated from League One.
But after returning to the Glenn Hoddle Academy, also based in Spain, Anya jumped at the chance to join Sevilla and rather than running out at Rochdale, Barnet and Accrington next season, he will be playing in La Liga!
