Cup double on the horizon?
The Cobblers could be on the verge of making a cup double this summer as the game against Coventry has been amended to be named the "Jackson Grundy Cup". Aparantly to "add spice" to proceedings (we could have just got Tony Ansell to whip up a curry), the game on July 21st will now be the first of two cup games during the friendly season.
A youth/reserve team is expected to take to Long Buckby nine days later to compete for the Maunsell Cup...so will that trophy cabinet be bulging at the seams before the season even begins or will we lose the Jackson Gruny Cup and never see it again?!
