Huddersfield Town (A) Preview...

Next up for the Cobblers is a trip to struggling Huddersfield Town as we travel to the Galpharm Stadium still looking for our first league win since the opening day of the season.

Form

The Terriers have had a tough start to the season and lie in the bottom four before the Cobblers come to town. After two draws in the first two league games this season, Huddersfield were beaten at home by MK Dons and away at Millwall. Their only win came in the 2-1 win at Cheltenham but last weekend they were beaten at The Galpharm again, this time at the hands of Tranmere Rovers.

The Cobblers go into the game off the back of two draws, at home to Peterborough United last weekend and at Stockport in our game in hand on Tuesday night. Karl Hawley struck his first goal for the club in the week but it was cancelled out late on by Leon McSweeney.

Team News

Huddersfield could still be without captain Chris Lucketti who is struggling with a groin injury while Danny Cadamarteri could also be missing. Tom Clarke is definitely ruled out of the game with a thigh strain. But the Terriers could be boosted by the return of striker Andy Booth who is recovering well from a back problem.

The Cobblers welcomed back Chris Doig in the midweek draw at Stockport but the defender could miss out after his groin injury flared up again following the game. Liam Davis is back in training after recovering from an illness while Jason Crowe will return after a one game ban.
