A disappointing end to the season for No Saints meant that we missed out on promotion back to League Two. On a rain drenched pitch, there were plenty of fouls early on.
It was Kashima who took the lead mid-way through the first half and our task got more difficult after an unfortunate own goal put Antlers 2-0 up. As desperation kicked in, we surged forward and Abib gave us hope of the point we needed.
But almost straight away, Kashima made it 3-1 and the dreams of promotion began to fade. A late strike from Jamie, his ninth of the season, made it 3-2 but it wasn't enough and we will spend another season in League Three, starting next week.
