Albion in for out of contract Crowe

Brighton and Hove Albion have reportedly offered a contract to Jason Crowe. Crowe, who is one of the three remaining out of contract players still deciding on an offer from the Cobblers, is ‘unlikely’ to sign a new deal with the club and Brighton have moved to offer him new terms.

The defender, one of our better players in recent years, has attracted interest from the likes of Nottingham Forest and Plymouth Argyle in the past but the offer from Brighton is said to be the only one concrete so far this summer.

Crowe has until June 16th to respond to the Cobblers’ offer but is free to discuss terms elsewhere and he could well be tempted by League One football once again.
