Another agonising night in front of goal for No Saints this evening as Barracuda took home the points. Abib and Andy were both missing so we drafted in Dave's brother in law, Sam, who made a very good cameo appearance and Tim also returned after missing out last week.
After the team turned up with too few players, it was one of the organisers of jdfives who stepped in to fill the hole and of course he scored the opening goal to put us behind. Barracuda added a second before Phil scored his fourth of the season after beating a couple of men to put us right back in the game before the break.
It looked like we could fight back and get something from the game but the killer touch was lacking and some good goalkeeping kept the score down. A rare mistake from Aaron in the No Saints goal handed them a 3-1 lead and that was the killer before Will's own goal made it 4-1 late on from a corner.
Encouraging signs though as we head into the final two games of the season with still a place in League One to fight for. Next up is a crunch relegation battle with Red Star Five next week.
