The Cobblers were dealt a new year blow as their game at Brighton was postponed due to a frozen pitch at the Withdean Stadium. Games across the country were called off and Brighton's pitch was also deemed unplayable by referee Mr Graham.
The pitch was inspected twice before Mr Graham finally called it off at around 1pm on Saturday afternoon and no new date has yet been arranged for the game to take place.
Supporters are advised that all tickets for the initial game will still be accepted on the day of the rearranged tie.
