18-Year-old striker Joe Benjamin has signed his first professional deal with the Cobblers after an impressive season at yoth and reserve team level. Benjamin, released by West Ham United in his early playing career was spotted in London by Cobblers scouts who brought him to the club.
He has already played in a first team game for the club when he came off the bench against Millwall earlier this season. Benjamin has signed an 18 month deal.
