Cobblers midfielder Danny Jackman is expected to be missing for the next few weeks after he suffered what is suspected to be medial ligament damage during Saturday's draw with Huddersfield Town.
Jackman is the second top scorer for the club this season after a succession of free kicks and well taken goals in the last couple of months saw him live up to last season's Player of the Year tag.
But he will be out of the next few games, starting with Friday nights' trip to Hartlepool United.
