Stuart Gray completed the signing of former Wycome Wanderers winger Ikechi Anya on a short term deal in time for Saturday's game with Cheltenham Town. Anya, 21, was released by Oxford United in 2003 and joined Wycombe before winning the Apprentice of the Year award in 2005 at the first Football League awards.
Anya has been in non league since 2007 with Oxford City and Halesowen but has been training with the Cobblers for a couple of weeks as Stuart Gray takes a look at him.
Anya came on as a late substitute at Whaddon Road.
