One in One out on frantic Friday
Just in time for today's clash with Stockport County, there's been loan happenings at Sixfields with one in and one out. Leon Constantine has signed for Cheltenham Town for one month whilst Stuart Gray has brought in Scott Vernon on loan in a similar deal from Colchester United.
Gray said that Leon could do with a change of scenary and what's the betting now that he goes on to score a bucket load of goals for Cheltenham? Constantine has gone down the pecking order at Sixfields with Ikechi Anya and Alexsander Prijovic joining in the past couple of weeks plus Bayo's return this afternoon.
Vernon has a decent amount of experience despite being only 25 and has a strong scoring record in the lower leagues so his work rate and eye for goal could come in very handy in the weeks to come. Mind you, I think we said the same about a certain prolific scorer who signed from Leeds in the summer...
