MK Dons (H) Preview...

The Cobblers welcome MK Dons to Sixfields tonight as both sides scrap for vital League One points. Stuart Gray’s side are battling to save their Leage One skins whilst Dons are fighting to win promotion out of the league the other way. It promises to be a tough encounter at Sixfields as the Cobblers look to avenge a 1-0 defeat at Stadium: MK back in August.

Team News

The Cobblers will be without suspended Chris Doig and Adebayo Akinfenwa. Doig serves a one game ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season on Saturday whilst Bayo misses the second of his four game ban. Liam Davis and Luke Guttridge are still out through injury.

The Dons have no new injury worries ahead of the trip to Sixfields. Danny Swailes is still out with an Achilles injury whilst Tore Andre Flo remains on the sidelines with a calf problem but the rest of the squad are all available to boss Roberto Di Matteo.

Last Time Out: MK Dons 1-0 Northampton Town (16/08/08)

In the only other meeting between the sides, the Dons took all three points on the second weekend of this season. On a hot day in August, it was Aaron Wilbraham that sealed the points with a scrambled goal mid-way through the second half in a deserved win for the home side.
