Yeovil Town (A) Preview...

Tonight sees a massive six pointer as the Cobblers visit Yeovil Town in a rearranged fixture with both sides in danger of relegation. Yeovil’s win over Swindon at the weekend puts them behind the Cobblers by just goal difference and with a blank weekend for us coming up we need all three points desperately.

Team News

Yeovil player-manager Terry Skiverton is injured so Lee Peltier should take his place once again. Meanwhile, the Glovers have three Tottenham youngsters on loan with Jon Obika, Andros Townsend and Danny Hutchins all set to be included in tonight’s squad.

The Cobblers are likely to be without midfielder Luke Guttridge who re-injured his knee after scoring the equalizing goal at Carlisle on Saturday. Adam Watts is still not ready to make his debut but Jared Hodgkiss should start again at right back.

Form

Yeovil were winners at the weekend as they saw off Swindon by the single goal at Huish Park. John Obika scored the only goal of the game for the Glovers to take them closer to us in the table.

The Cobblers came from a goal behind to draw at Carlisle, keeping us tantalizingly above Yeovil on goal difference going into tonight’s game.

Last Time Out…18/10/08: COBBLERS 3-0 YEOVIL…

Danny Jackman opens the scoring for the Cobblers at Sixfields back in October and Adebayo Akinfenwa has us two up within twenty minutes. A late Jason Crowe goal seals a comfortable win for us on home soil.
