And so another striker joins with all the positive adjectives surrounding him as another month long loan comes in the form of Alexander Prijovic. With the return of Bayo this Saturday we certainly needed some backup despite the wholesome effort on the part of Ikechi Anya and Colin Larkin on Saturday.
Larkin in particular would be disappointed to lose a starting place now that he’s had a chance of playing in his preferred position but clinical finishing may now be more on Stuart Gray’s mind than hard graft. I would imagine that the new arrival will begin on the bench on Saturday, possibly coming on for the final quarter if we need something.
Prijovic contributed zero goals in his four games at Yeovil but did help the Glovers to four wins in a row. If he can do the same for us I honestly couldn’t care less how many goal he scores!
