Larkin nets in Town friendly win...

The Cobblers have won their opening game of the San An Cup with a 3-1 victory over UE San Jose. The game saw Colin Larkin score in his first game for the club while Sam Aiston and Andy Holt also found the net.

Sam Aiston gave us the lead on 26 minutes after a lengthy spell of attack before Larkin netted his first goal for the club, volleying the ball home following an Andy Holt cross that caused confusion in the San Jose defense. Holt was on the score sheet himself just before the break.

Fred Murray made his long awaited comeback and played as a second half substitute- his first game for over two years!

San Jose pulled a goal back in the second half but in the end it was a comfortable start to pre-season for the Cobblers who will now go on to play SD Portmany on Thursday before returning home from Ibiza.
