The Cobblers have handed trialist Joe Howe a short term contract following a successful spell in pre-season friendlies and training.
The former MK Dons man can play in defence or midfield and will be handed squad number 20 by Stuart Gray. Howe adds height and power to the squad and his utility could be a bonus as the squad is put together.
So another young hopeful joins the growing list of up and coming youngsters at the club and now all we need is one or two strikers to complete the squad. There's not long left until the big kick off so hopefully some news will be forthcoming soon!
