The Cobblers have made their latest move in the January transfer window by snapping up Wolverhampton Wanderers right back Mark Little on a months’ loan. Little, 19, joins fellow Wolves team mate Daniel Jones at Sixfields.
Little has played for England at Under 17, 18 and 19 levels and has already made 32 senior appearances for the midlands club after progressing through their youth academy. He is described as an “attacking right back who enjoys running at his counterparts in the opposition and supplying crosses for the front men.”
Little loan spell will run out after the home game with Leeds United at Sixfields on February 9th and he is available for selection for this weekends’ League One clash with Hartlepool United.
The thought being now that Jason Crowe can make a midfield position his own after moving up the field in recent weeks to good effect, scoring a couple of goals on the way. Crowe has looked strong going forward and with Danny Jackman the only other option to fill in at right back it seems a sensible move by Gray and it’s good to see two young players join the club already in the window.
