More birthday celebrations were on the agenda for this weekend as we followed up Dave's birthday surprise on Thursday night with a weekend in Martha's parent's home of Upper Bucklebury.
Saturday night was spent at Martha's favourite restaurant of Nandos and with it being my first visit for a proper meal I was immediately hooked. It may be very wrong that I was craving it again come Sunday evening!
After a relaxing Saturday evening with a film and endless treats, we were treated to a loevly roast dinner from Martha's parents on Sunday afternoon as cakes for both Martha and Dave were shared out for desserts. Blown out after the meal, we played "Anti Monopoly" whilst some of us fell asleep during the afternoon to prepare for the journey home.
So another really good weekend away and it'll be weird to spend next weekend actually staying in Southampton following trips to Leeds, London and Upper Bucklebury in the first few weekends of 2008. Still, we do have the big party at Soul Cellar planned for next Saturday so it certainly won't be a quiet one!
