No Saints fell to defeat last night as Paultons kept up their 100% record by seeing us off 4-1 in the latest League One tussle. After taking an early lead, Paultons made it 2-0 half way through the first half and despite a goal from our leading front man Abib, we slipped eventually to a 4-1 defeat.
The game also included a Blue Card for one of the Paultons players but despite him being in the Sin Bin for 4 minutes we couldn’t convert our chances and once again hit the post and the bar on a couple of occasions.
The game saw the return of Will and also new signing Tim so as the squad grows we’ll hopefully do as best we can to remain in League One. The result leaves us in 4th with the bottom two sides being relegated and the top two promoted. With four games still to play, it’s still all to play for and next week we take on Time For Heroes, one of the sides we beat last time out.
